Job Title: SEMH Teaching Assistant
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £460 – £600 per week
Contract Type: Full time, long-term / Day-to-day
Start Date: Immediately

About the Role:
As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will provide support to students who require additional emotional and behavioural guidance in the classroom.

Responsibilities:
• Support students with SEMH needs during lessons and school activities.
• Assist teachers in implementing personalised learning strategies.
• Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning.
• Build strong and supportive relationships with students.
• Monitor progress and report updates to teaching staff.

Qualifications:
• Experience supporting students with SEMH needs preferred.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• Patient and supportive approach to working with young people.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Have the right to work in the UK.
• Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
• Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
