Job Title: Computer Science Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Support students in developing digital skills and computational thinking through engaging and well-structured computing lessons!
GSL Education are seeking a knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher to join schools in Sheffield, covering the S2 and S3 areas. The Computer Science (CS) Teacher will deliver lessons that build confidence in programming, problem-solving, and understanding modern technology.
Main Duties of Computer Science Teacher:
- Plan and deliver Computer Science lessons in line with the curriculum.
- Teach topics such as programming, algorithms, and digital systems.
- Encourage logical thinking and independent problem-solving.
- Maintain a focused and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Computer Science in a school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
