Job Title: SEMH Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S5)
Salary: Up to £220 Per day
Contract Type: Full time, long-term / Day-to-day
Start Date: Immediately

Are you a compassionate teacher with experience supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs? A school in Sheffield (S5) is seeking a dedicated SEMH Teacher to support learners and create a structured and supportive learning environment.

About the School:
The school focuses on supporting students with SEMH needs through personalised learning and strong pastoral care. Staff create a calm and supportive environment where students can build confidence and develop both academically and socially.

About the Role:
As an SEMH Teacher, you will deliver structured lessons while supporting students’ emotional development and engagement in learning.

Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver structured lessons tailored to students with SEMH needs.
• Create a supportive classroom environment that promotes engagement.
• Support students’ emotional and behavioural development.
• Monitor progress and adapt teaching approaches when needed.
• Work closely with support staff and external professionals.

Qualifications:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.
• Experience working with SEMH students preferred.
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
• Patient and supportive approach to teaching.
