Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistants
Location: Dinnington (S25)
Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time 

Support students with additional learning needs by providing consistent encouragement and tailored assistance that helps them succeed in the classroom!

GSL Education are searching for compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join schools in Dinnington (S25). The Special Education Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistants will work closely with teachers and SEN staff to support pupils who require extra academic, behavioural, or emotional support.

Main Duties of SEN Teaching Assistants:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEN.
  • Assist teachers in adapting lesson materials and classroom activities.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and active participation.
  • Support students with social and emotional development.
  • Follow safeguarding policies and maintain a safe learning environment.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN.
  • Patient, supportive, and empathetic approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Understanding of inclusive education practices.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
