Job Title: SEMH Teacher
Location: Dinnington (S25)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time 

Are you a compassionate and resilient SEMH Teacher who is passionate about supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs?

Schools in Dinnington (S25) and GSL Education are hiring a motivated Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) Teacher to deliver structured and supportive lessons.

As a SEMH Teacher, you will work with pupils who may experience emotional or behavioural challenges that impact their learning. You will create a calm and supportive classroom environment, helping students build confidence, regulate emotions, and re-engage with education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver structured lessons tailored to SEMH needs.
  • Support pupils in developing emotional regulation and resilience.
  • Implement positive behaviour management strategies.
  • Adapt teaching approaches to support individual learning needs.
  • Work collaboratively with SENCOs, pastoral staff, and support teams.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience working with SEMH or additional needs pupils.
  • Strong behaviour management and classroom control skills.
  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient teaching approach.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
