Job Title: Science Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are searching for a passionate Science Teacher to work in schools across Sheffield (S2, S3), delivering engaging lessons that encourage curiosity, experimentation, and critical thinking.

As a Science Teacher, you will play a key role in helping pupils understand scientific concepts across biology, chemistry, and physics while developing their investigative and analytical skills.

Main Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured science lessons as a Science Teacher.
  • Encourage pupils to develop enquiry-based learning and practical investigation skills.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the science curriculum.

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching science in a school setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
