Job Title: Behaviour Support/Mentor
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Are you a resilient and supportive Behaviour Support/Mentor who is passionate about helping young people overcome challenges?
Schools in Sheffield (S2, S3) and GSL Education are hiring a motivated Behaviour Support/Mentor to provide consistent behavioural and pastoral support to pupils.
As a Behaviour Support/Mentor, you will work closely with students who may struggle with behaviour, emotional regulation, or engagement in learning. You will help create a calm and structured environment where pupils feel supported, understood, and motivated to make positive choices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and small group mentoring support.
- Implement behaviour support strategies and intervention plans.
- Build strong, professional relationships with pupils.
- Support students during lessons and unstructured times.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and pastoral teams.
Requirements of Behaviour Support/Mentor:
- Previous experience in behaviour support, mentoring, or a similar role.
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
- A patient, calm, and consistent approach.
- Ability to manage challenging situations professionally.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
