Job Title: PE Support
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Do you enjoy supporting physical education and helping students stay active, confident, and engaged in sports?
GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Physical Education (PE) Support staff member to work in Sheffield, including the S2 and S3 areas, assisting the PE department in delivering energetic and engaging sports sessions.
As a PE Support, you will work alongside PE teachers to support lessons, help organise sports activities, and encourage students to participate in physical education in a positive and inclusive environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support the PE teacher in delivering structured and engaging PE lessons.
- Assist with setting up and organising sports equipment and facilities.
- Encourage student participation and promote teamwork and sportsmanship.
- Provide support to individual students or small groups during activities.
- Help maintain a safe and positive environment during physical activities.
Requirements of PE Support:
- Previous experience working with young people or within a school setting is desirable.
- A strong interest in sports, physical education, or fitness.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A positive and energetic approach when working with students.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
