Pay rate: £90 -£115 Per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work in Newcastle, supporting teachers and students in creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you will work closely with teachers to support classroom activities, assist individual pupils or small groups, and help ensure students remain focused and confident in their learning.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and classroom activities.
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to help students understand their work.
- Help maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment.
- Assist in preparing learning materials and classroom resources.
- Support students’ wellbeing and encourage inclusive learning.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar school-based role is desirable.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Patience, reliability, and a supportive approach.
- A commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
