Job Title: English Teacher
Location: Sheffield – S5
Salary: Up to £220 per day
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time, Long-term / Day-to-day

About the Role:
As an English Teacher, you will deliver engaging and effective lessons across the English curriculum, helping students develop confidence in reading, writing, and critical thinking. You will play a key role in supporting students’ academic progress while fostering a love for literature and language.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Support students in developing reading, writing, and analytical skills
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain positive classroom behaviour and encourage student engagement
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support student achievement
Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience teaching English in a secondary school setting
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A passion for supporting students and promoting a positive learning environment
