SEN Teaching Assistant – Barnet

Location: Barnet
Pay: £95–£120 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-Time | Term Time | Monday–Friday

A supportive Barnet school is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This role involves working 1:1 and in small groups supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and learning difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide 1:1 SEN support and small-group intervention
• Support pupils with EHCPs and individual learning plans
• Assist with behaviour management and emotional regulation
• Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and pastoral team
• Help pupils engage in learning and develop independence

Requirements
• Experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant 
• Experience supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH or complex needs
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
• Calm, patient, and adaptable approach
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
