A-Level Maths Teacher
Location: Medway, Kent
Salary: £120 - £250 per day (Negotiable based on experience/scale)
Start date: Immediately
Contract: Full-time, Long-term supply

We are currently supporting a historic and highly successful 11-18 selective school in Medway in their search for a dedicated A-Level Maths Teacher. This is a full-time, long-term supply position starting immediately. The selected A-Level Maths Teacher will be working within an academically rigorous environment, teaching capable and highly motivated learners who are eager to excel and progress to top-tier universities.
The school is a well-regarded grammar school in Medway, known for its tradition of excellence and scholarly atmosphere. This is an ideal setting for an A-Level Maths Teacher who enjoys delivering sophisticated content to engaged Sixth Form students. You will be supported by a leadership team that values subject specialists and provides a professional, refined teaching environment.
As an A-Level Maths Teacher, you will be expected to:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons with a focus on Key Stage 5 mastery.
- Challenge high-achieving students to reach their full potential and prepare them for rigorous examinations.
- Take full responsibility for marking, assessment, and tracking student progress within the Sixth Form.
- Adhere to school policies on safeguarding, professional conduct, and curriculum delivery.
In order to be considered for this A-Level Maths Teacher role, the candidate must:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognized equivalent teaching qualification.
- Have proven experience and high confidence in delivering Mathematics at A-Level.
- Demonstrate a passion for the subject and the ability to inspire capable, academic learners.
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Meet GSL’s safer recruitment background checks.
- Have a Child Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
