Job Title: History Teacher
Location: Rotherham (S65, S66)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Do you enjoy teaching History and helping students develop an understanding of the past and its impact on the present?
GSL Education are searching for a knowledgeable History Teacher to work in Rotherham, including the S65 and S66 areas, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons.
As a History Teacher, you will help students explore key historical events, societies, and themes through high-quality lessons that encourage critical thinking and curiosity in a supportive classroom environment.
Key Duties:
- Deliver high-quality History lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Teach topics such as significant historical events, periods, and societies.
- Encourage discussion, analysis, and critical thinking skills.
- Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience working as a History Teacher in a school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
