Job Title: Art Teacher
Location: Rotherham (S65, S66)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Are you a creative and enthusiastic Art Teacher who can inspire students to express their ideas through art and design?
Schools in Rotherham (S65, S66) and GSL Education are searching for an experienced Art Teacher to deliver engaging and well-structured art lessons.
As an Art Teacher, you will help students develop practical artistic skills, explore different media, and build confidence in creative expression. You will create a positive and supportive classroom environment where learners feel encouraged to experiment and showcase their ideas.
Core Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver creative and engaging art lessons.
- Encourage students to explore different artistic techniques and materials.
- Assess and monitor student progress regularly.
- Support creativity, independent thinking, and participation.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom engagement.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Art in a school setting.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Good communication and organisational abilities.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
