Job Title: Design Technology Teacher
Location: Rotherham (S65, S66)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently recruiting a passionate Design Technology Teacher to work in schools across the S65 and S66 areas of Rotherham.
As a Design Technology (DT) Teacher, you will deliver hands-on learning experiences that help pupils develop design thinking, technical knowledge, and problem-solving skills in a safe and supportive workshop environment.
Prime Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Design Technology lessons in line with the curriculum.
- Teach practical design, product development, and material techniques.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress effectively.
- Maintain a safe, organised, and inclusive classroom and workshop space.
- Support departmental projects and enrichment activities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience working as a Design Technology Teacher in a school setting.
- Strong practical teaching and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
