Job Title: Exam Invigilator
Location: Newcastle
Salary: £90 – £115 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time

If so, GSL Education are seeking dependable and professional Exam Invigilators to support schools across Newcastle during exam periods.
As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a key role in ensuring that examinations run smoothly, fairly, and in accordance with official guidelines. This role is ideal for individuals who are able to supervise students during examinations while ensuring all exam regulations and procedures are followed correctly.
Responsibilities of an Exam Invigilator:
- Supervise students during examinations to ensure a calm and controlled environment
- Distribute and collect exam papers and materials in accordance with exam regulations
- Ensure students follow all examination rules and procedures
- Check student attendance and confirm candidate identification
- Respond to student queries in line with examination guidelines
- Monitor the exam room to prevent malpractice and maintain exam integrity
- Ensure exam conditions are maintained throughout the duration of the test
- Collect and securely return completed exam scripts at the end of the examination
What you need to be an Exam Invigilator:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully
- Good organisational and time management skills
- The ability to remain vigilant and attentive during examinations
- Professional and calm approach when supervising students
- Previous experience in a school or exam setting as an Exam Invigilator is desirable
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
