Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Do you enjoy teaching Geography and helping students understand the world and the environments around them?
GSL Education are searching for a passionate Geography Teacher to work in Sheffield (S35), delivering engaging lessons that explore both human and physical geography.
As a Geography Teacher, you will plan and deliver well-structured lessons that develop students’ understanding of global issues, landscapes, and communities while encouraging curiosity and critical thinking.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Geography lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Teach topics such as climate, population, ecosystems, and global development.
- Encourage discussion and critical thinking about environmental and global issues.
- Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience working as a Geography Teacher in a school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
