Job Title: History Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are looking for a knowledgeable History Teacher to join a school in Sheffield (S35), delivering engaging lessons that encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of historical events and perspectives.
As a History Teacher, you will plan and deliver structured lessons that support students in analysing sources, exploring key historical periods, and developing strong research and discussion skills within a supportive learning environment.
Core Responsibilities
- Deliver well-planned History lessons in line with the curriculum
- Encourage analytical thinking and discussion of historical topics
- Support students in evaluating sources and forming balanced viewpoints
- Maintain a positive and focused classroom atmosphere
- Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification
- Experience working as History Teacher in a school setting
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
