Job Title: Computer Science Teacher

Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently recruiting a passionate Computer Science Teacher to work in schools located in the S35 area of Sheffield.

As a Computer Science (CS) Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that develop students’ understanding of programming, computational thinking, and digital literacy. You will help learners build practical skills and confidence in technology while supporting their academic progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Teach key topics such as programming, algorithms, and computer systems.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning.
  • Contribute to the wider school community and departmental planning.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Previous experience working as a Computer Science Teacher in school setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
