Salary: £100 – £130 per day (Depending on Experience)

GSL Education are seeking confident, motivated, and adaptable Cover Supervisors (CS) to work across friendly and inclusive schools in the Middlesbrough area. This rewarding opportunity is perfect for individuals passionate about supporting young people and gaining hands-on classroom experience.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will oversee classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain engaged, focused, and supported throughout the school day.
Your Role as a Cover Supervisor (CS) Will Include:
- Managing the classroom and leading pre-prepared lesson materials.
- Supporting students with learning tasks and behaviour expectations.
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Encouraging good behaviour and maintaining clear classroom routines.
- Always adhering to safeguarding and school policies.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience working with young people (schools, tutoring, coaching, youth work, etc.).
- Strong communication and organisational abilities.
- Confidence in leading a classroom and building rapport with students.
- A proactive, flexible, and calm approach to daily challenges.
- A degree or relevant qualification (preferred but not essential).
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
