Cover Supervisor
Location: Hull
Salary: £90 – £110 per day
Contract: Flexible / Supply
Start Date: February 2026 or sooner
GSL Education are recruiting confident Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Hull.
About the School
Schools in the area provide supportive environments where Cover Supervisors play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absence. Staff teams work collaboratively to ensure pupils remain focused on their studies while maintaining positive behaviour and engagement.
Responsibilities

Supervise classes during teacher absence

Deliver pre prepared lesson materials

Manage classroom behaviour effectively

Support pupils in completing assigned work

Report on lesson progress to teaching staff
Requirements
-
Degree or relevant education experience
-
Strong behaviour management and communication skills
-
Confidence managing a classroom environment

Interest in education or teaching
-
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
