Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Salary: £88.94 – £95 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) to support students in a warm, inclusive school setting in Margate. Key Responsibilities of SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA):
- Provide 1:1 and small‑group support to students with a range of SEN needs.
- Assist in delivering tailored learning activities designed to meet individual targets.
- Promote emotional well‑being, independence, and positive behaviour.
- Work closely with teachers and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Contribute to monitoring and recording student progress.
Requirements for SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA):
- Experience working with children or adults with SEN is essential.
- Applications welcomed from candidates with backgrounds in healthcare, nursery settings, care work, youth work, or activity leadership.
- A nurturing, patient, and resilient approach to supporting learners.
- Ability to adapt to different needs and learning styles.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
