Job Title: Drama Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Are you a creative and enthusiastic Drama Teacher who can inspire students to express themselves with confidence?
Schools in Sheffield (S35) and GSL Education are looking for a skilled Drama Teacher to deliver engaging and practical lessons.
As a Drama Teacher, you will support students in developing performance skills, teamwork, and self-confidence through a range of dramatic activities. You will create a safe and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable exploring ideas, scripts, and stage techniques.
Core Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging drama lessons and activities.
- Encourage creativity, collaboration, and performance skills.
- Prepare students for showcases or school productions where required.
- Assess progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain positive behaviour and classroom expectations.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Drama in a school setting.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Good communication and organisational abilities.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
