Job Title: Science Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Support students in developing curiosity and scientific understanding through engaging, practical, and well-structured lessons!
GSL Education are searching for an experienced Science Teacher to join a school in Sheffield, covering the S35 area. The Science Teacher will deliver high-quality lessons across biology, chemistry, and physics, helping students build confidence in scientific enquiry and analysis.
Responsibilities of Science Teacher:
- Plan and teach science lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Encourage practical investigations and evidence-based reasoning.
- Differentiate teaching to support a range of abilities.
- Maintain a safe and focused laboratory and classroom environment.
- Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching science in a school setting.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
