Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Are you a motivated and skilled Maths Teacher who can help students build confidence with numbers and problem-solving?
Schools in Sheffield (S35) and GSL Education are hiring a dedicated Mathematics Teacher to deliver clear and engaging lessons.
As a Maths Teacher, you will support students in developing strong numeracy skills, logical thinking, and the ability to apply mathematics in different contexts. You will create a focused and supportive classroom environment where learners feel encouraged to ask questions and achieve their best.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver structured and engaging maths lessons.
- Assess and monitor student progress regularly.
- Support students in developing problem-solving and reasoning skills.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet a range of learning needs.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and participation.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Maths in a school setting.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Good communication and organisational abilities.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
