Job Title: English Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a committed English Teacher to work in Sheffield (S35), delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that support student progress and achievement.
As an English Teacher, you will plan and deliver high-quality lessons across literature and language, helping students develop strong analytical skills, creativity, and a deeper understanding of a range of texts in a positive classroom environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver structured English lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Teach a range of texts, including prose, poetry, and drama.
- Support students in developing reading, writing, and critical thinking skills.
- Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support student achievement.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience working as an English Teacher in a school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
