Job Title: History Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are welcoming applications from passionate History Teachers to work in a school in the S11 area of Sheffield.

As a History Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that help pupils explore historical events, analyse sources, and develop a deeper understanding of the world through history.

Main Duties:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality History lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Encourage discussion, analysis, and evidence-based thinking.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress effectively.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Support enrichment activities related to history.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as a History Teacher in a school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
