Job Title: PE Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are delighted to recruit a passionate Physical Education (PE) Teacher to work in a school in the S11 area of Sheffield.

As a PE Teacher, you will deliver both practical and theoretical PE lessons, helping pupils develop physical skills, sportsmanship, and an understanding of fitness and wellbeing.

Key Duties:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Encourage active participation and positive attitudes towards sport and fitness.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress effectively.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and well-managed sporting environment.
  • Support extracurricular sports activities and events.

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as a PE Teacher in a school setting.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
