GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work in Ashford, supporting teachers and students in creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you will assist with classroom activities, provide one-to-one and small group support, and encourage students to stay focused and confident in their learning.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and classroom activities.
- Work with individual pupils and small groups to provide additional learning support.
- Help maintain a positive and well-structured classroom environment.
- Assist in preparing learning materials and classroom resources.
- Support pupils’ wellbeing and promote inclusive learning.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a school-based role is desirable.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Patience, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- A commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for a new one).
