Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Worksop (S81)
Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day supply

Are you confident managing a classroom and looking to gain valuable school-based experience?

GSL Education are looking for a reliable and proactive Cover Supervisor to work in schools across Worksop (S81). This is an excellent opportunity for individuals considering a career in teaching or education.

As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will supervise pre-set lessons in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring pupils remain on task and complete the work provided.

Prime Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons as a Cover Supervisor across a range of subjects.
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
  • Provide support and guidance to pupils where required.
  • Report back to teaching staff on pupil progress and behaviour.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with young people (school-based experience desirable).
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Confidence, adaptability, and a calm approach.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
