Job Title: Sports Coach
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are hiring an enthusiastic Sports Coach to work with schools in Barnsley, including the S70 and S71 areas, delivering engaging and structured sports sessions.
As a Sports Coach, you will lead and support a range of physical activities, helping students develop teamwork, resilience, and practical skills while promoting a positive and inclusive environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver structured sports sessions and activities.
- Encourage teamwork, fair play, and active participation.
- Support students of different abilities to build confidence and skills.
- Maintain a safe and organised sports environment.
- Work closely with school staff to support student development and wellbeing.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Sports Coach or in a similar role.
- A strong background in sport and physical activity.
- Good behaviour management and communication skills.
- A proactive, energetic, and supportive approach.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
