Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are currently seeking a passionate Geography Teacher to work in schools across the S70 and S71 areas of Barnsley.
As a Geography Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that develop pupils’ understanding of physical and human geography while encouraging critical thinking and global awareness.
Main Duties:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Geography lessons in line with the curriculum.
- Encourage enquiry-based learning and independent research.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress effectively.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Contribute to fieldwork opportunities and enrichment activities where appropriate.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience working as a Geography Teacher in a school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
