Job Title: PE Teacher
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are hiring an enthusiastic PE Teacher to join schools in Barnsley, covering the S70 and S71 areas. The Physical Education (PE) Teacher will plan and deliver high-quality lessons across a range of sports and physical activities, encouraging participation and personal development.

Key Duties of PE Teacher:

  • Plan and teach PE lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Organise and lead a variety of sports and fitness activities.
  • Encourage teamwork, resilience, and positive sportsmanship.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and safety during lessons.
  • Assess progress and provide constructive feedback to students.

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification.
  • Experience teaching Physical Education in a school setting.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
