Job Title: Drama Teacher
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic Drama Teacher to work with schools in Barnsley, including the S70 and S71 areas, delivering engaging and imaginative lessons.
As a Drama Teacher, you will plan and deliver high-quality practical and theory-based lessons, helping students develop performance skills, teamwork, and self-confidence in a supportive classroom environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver well-structured Drama lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Teach performance techniques, script analysis, and theatre skills.
- Encourage creativity, collaboration, and active participation.
- Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Support school productions and extracurricular drama activities where appropriate.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience working as a Drama Teacher in a school setting.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
