Job Title: English Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Help students build confidence in reading, writing, and communication by delivering engaging and well-structured English lessons!
GSL Education are hiring a passionate English Teacher to join a school in Sheffield, covering the S11 area. The English Teacher will deliver high-quality lessons that develop literacy, analytical thinking, and written expression across different key stages.
Responsibilities of English Teacher:
- Plan and deliver English lessons in line with the curriculum.
- Support students in improving reading comprehension and writing skills.
- Encourage discussion, interpretation, and critical analysis of texts.
- Maintain a positive and focused classroom environment.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching English in a school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
