Job Title: Computer Science Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S5, S9)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are hiring a knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher to work in schools across Sheffield (S5, S9), delivering high-quality lessons that develop computational thinking and technical skills.

As Computer Science (CS) Teacher, you will plan and deliver structured Computer Science lessons covering programming, algorithms, and digital literacy, helping learners build confidence in using technology within a supportive classroom environment.

What the role involves:

  • Deliver well-planned Computer Science lessons aligned with curriculum requirements
  • Support pupils in developing coding, problem-solving, and logical thinking skills
  • Encourage independent learning through practical computing activities
  • Maintain positive behaviour and an organised classroom environment
  • Assess progress and provide clear, constructive feedback

What we are looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience working as a Computer Science Teacher in a school setting
  • Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
