Job Title: Drama Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S5, S9)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Do you enjoy teaching Drama and helping students build confidence, creativity, and performance skills?
GSL Education are looking for an enthusiastic Drama Teacher to work in Sheffield, including the S5 and S9 areas, delivering engaging and imaginative drama lessons.
As a Drama Teacher, you will plan and deliver practical and theory-based drama lessons that encourage expression, teamwork, and performance development in a positive and supportive classroom environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Drama lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Teach performance skills, script work, and theatre techniques.
- Encourage confidence, creativity, and student participation.
- Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Support productions, rehearsals, or extracurricular drama activities where appropriate.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience working as a Drama Teacher in a school setting.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
