Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant
Location: Southwark
Pay Rate: £95.00 – £105.00 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time or Full-Time

Key Responsibilities of the SEND Teaching Assistant:
- Provide tailored 1:1 or small-group support for pupils with SEND.
- Assist in the delivery of individual learning and intervention plans.
- Support pupils’ academic progress, emotional wellbeing, and social development.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and the SEND team to maintain an inclusive learning environment.
- Follow school policies and uphold a positive, nurturing classroom ethos.
Requirements:
- Experience working with students with SEND needs.
- Recent experience in a school or educational setting.
- Confidence in delivering structured SEND support.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow guidance effectively.
- A positive, patient, and resilient approach.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
