Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time
Are you a dedicated Maths Teacher who can make mathematics clear, engaging, and accessible for all learners?
Schools in Barnsley (S70, S71) and GSL Education are looking for an experienced Mathematics Teacher to deliver high-quality and well-structured lessons.
As a Maths Teacher, you will support students in developing strong numeracy, reasoning, and problem-solving skills. You will create a positive classroom environment where learners feel confident tackling new topics and building their mathematical understanding step by step.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver clear, engaging maths lessons.
- Assess and monitor student progress regularly.
- Support students in developing logical and analytical thinking.
- Adapt teaching to meet a range of learning needs.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and achievement.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Mathematics in a school setting.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Good communication and organisational abilities.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for a new one.
