Job Title: Science Teacher
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a passionate Science Teacher to work in Barnsley, including the S70 and S71 areas, delivering engaging lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
As a Science Teacher, you will plan and deliver high-quality lessons that develop scientific knowledge, practical skills, and curiosity, while creating a positive and supportive classroom environment where students can succeed.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver structured Science lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Teach Science across Key Stages, covering Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
- Plan and conduct practical experiments safely and effectively.
- Monitor student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience working as a Science Teacher in a school setting.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
