Job Title: Science Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S5, S9)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Inspire students to explore scientific ideas and develop curiosity about the natural world through engaging and practical lessons!
GSL Education are searching an experienced Science Teacher to join schools in Sheffield, covering the S5 and S9 areas. The Science Teacher will deliver high-quality lessons across biology, chemistry, and physics topics, supporting students of varying abilities.
Prime Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver science lessons in line with the curriculum.
- Promote practical investigation, enquiry, and scientific thinking.
- Support students in developing subject knowledge and academic confidence.
- Maintain a positive and structured classroom environment.
- Assess progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
Requirements of Science Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching science in a school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
