Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Sheffield (S5, S9)
Pay rate: £460 - £650 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are hiring a dependable Cover Supervisor to support schools in Sheffield (S5, S9), ensuring continuity of learning during staff absence.
As Cover Supervisor (CS), you will oversee pre-planned lessons, manage classroom behaviour, and support pupils in completing set work in a calm and structured environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supervising classes using work provided by teaching staff
- Maintaining strong classroom control and positive behaviour
- Ensuring pupils remain focused and engaged with tasks
- Reporting back to teaching staff on lesson progress as Cover Supervisor
- Following all safeguarding and school policies
What we’re looking for:
- Experience working with children or young people
- Confident communication and strong behaviour management skills
- A flexible and professional approach
- Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom settings
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
