Job Title: RE Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Encourage thoughtful discussion and critical reflection by delivering engaging Religious Education lessons that explore beliefs, values, and worldviews!

GSL Education are seeking a committed RE Teacher to join schools in Sheffield, covering the S2 and S3 areas. The Religious Education (RE) Teacher will deliver structured and inclusive lessons that promote respect, understanding, and open-minded debate across key stages.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan and teach high-quality Religious Education lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Encourage respectful discussion of different faiths and ethical perspectives.
  • Support students in developing analytical and evaluative skills.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Assess progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.

Requirements of RE Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification.
  • Experience teaching Religious Education in a school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting equality and diversity.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
