Job Title: History Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Are you an engaging and knowledgeable History Teacher who can bring the past to life for students?
Schools in Sheffield (S2, S3) and GSL Education are searching for a committed History Teacher to deliver well-structured and engaging lessons.
As a History Teacher, you will help students explore key historical events, develop critical thinking skills, and understand how the past influences the present. You will create a positive classroom environment that encourages discussion, analysis, and independent learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver clear, engaging history lessons.
- Assess and monitor student progress regularly.
- Encourage source analysis and structured debate.
- Adapt teaching to meet different learning needs.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching History in a school setting.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Good communication and organisational abilities.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
