Job Title: Drama Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are searching for an enthusiastic Drama Teacher to join a school in Sheffield (S2, S3), delivering engaging lessons that inspire imagination and self-expression.

As Drama Teacher, you will guide students through practical and theory-based drama activities, helping them develop performance skills, communication, and confidence within a supportive learning environment.

The role will involve:

  • Planning and delivering structured Drama lessons
  • Leading practical workshops, improvisation, and scripted performances
  • Encouraging teamwork, creativity, and active participation
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a positive atmosphere
  • Assessing progress and providing clear, constructive feedback

Requirements of Drama Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification
  • Experience teaching Drama in a school setting
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills
  • A passion for the performing arts and student development
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
