Job Title: Art Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Are you a creative and inspiring Art Teacher ready to encourage students to express themselves through art?
Schools in Sheffield (S2, S3) and GSL Education are looking for a talented Art Teacher to deliver engaging and well-structured lessons.
As an Art Teacher, you will support students in developing practical skills across a range of media, while encouraging imagination, creativity, and independent thinking. You will create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where learners feel confident exploring their artistic ideas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver creative, well-organised art lessons.
- Assess and monitor student progress effectively.
- Encourage experimentation with different materials and techniques.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement.
- Contribute to the wider arts curriculum and school activities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Art in a school setting.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Good communication and organisational abilities.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
