Job Title: Design Technology Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Design Technology Teacher to work with schools across Sheffield, including the S2 and S3 areas, delivering engaging lessons that encourage innovation and hands-on learning.
As a Design Technology (DT) Teacher, you will plan and deliver structured lessons across areas such as product design, resistant materials, or food technology, helping students build technical knowledge and confidence in a safe workshop environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Design Technology lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Teach practical and theory-based components safely and effectively.
- Encourage creativity, problem-solving, and independent thinking.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback.
- Maintain a safe, organised, and well-managed classroom or workshop.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience working as a Design Technology Teacher in a school setting.
- Strong classroom and workshop management skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding, health and safety, and inclusive practice.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
