About the Role:
As a Supply Teacher, you will deliver lessons in line with existing plans, manage classroom behaviour effectively, and support students’ learning across a range of subjects. You will contribute to a safe and positive learning environment and help ensure students continue to make progress during teacher absence.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver prepared lessons across multiple subjects and year groups.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning atmosphere.
- Support students’ engagement, learning, and academic progress.
- Follow lesson plans and school policies to ensure continuity.
- Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding student progress and behaviour.
- Adapt to the needs of different classes and learning abilities.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience preferred.
- Experience managing classrooms and engaging students effectively.
- Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire learners across varying abilities.
- Flexible, adaptable, and confident in delivering lessons at short notice.
