About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support students’ learning and personal development. You will provide tailored assistance to individuals or small groups, helping students engage with lessons, complete tasks, and achieve their potential. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, adaptable, and committed to making a difference in education.
Responsibilities:
- Implement personalised support strategies to meet the individual needs of students.
- Assist teachers in delivering lessons and activities that engage students.
- Support students with learning tasks, behaviour management, and emotional well-being.
- Encourage independence, confidence, and participation in classroom activities.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and development.
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure consistent learning approaches.
- Help students access educational resources and learning materials effectively.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar role is preferred.
- Understanding of special educational needs (SEN) and effective support strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to the diverse needs of students.
- A compassionate and patient approach to supporting children’s learning and well-being.
