Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Rotherham (S25)
Salary: £460 - £600 per week

About the Role:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support the delivery of personalised learning and care plans, helping students achieve their full potential. This role provides a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the development and well-being of learners with additional needs.
Responsibilities:
- Implement personalised care and learning plans tailored to each student’s needs, promoting independence and personal growth.
- Create a supportive and inclusive environment that fosters trust, engagement, and confidence.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and multidisciplinary staff to ensure comprehensive support.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and activities, adhering to individual plans.
- Support students with personal care, hygiene, and eating, maintaining dignity and respect at all times.
- Assist students in accessing lessons and engaging fully with classroom activities.
- Use effective communication strategies to support learning and behaviour management.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a SEN or similar educational support role is preferred.
- Understanding of SEN conditions and evidence-based support strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to the diverse needs of students.
- A compassionate, patient, and positive approach to supporting learners.
